The Pat Tillman Foundation is proud to announce the 9th Annual Pat’s Run will take place Saturday, April 20, 2013. Held annually at Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Stadium, the signature fundraising event for the Pat Tillman Foundation has evolved from a community celebration of Pat’s memory to a global celebration of his legacy. Today, in addition to honoring Pat Tillman, Pat’s Run inspires Tillman Military Scholars and individuals across the country and around the world to create a legacy of their own.

The event features a 4.2-mile walk/run and .42-mile kids run staged so that all participants finish on the 42-yard line of Frank Kush Field inside Sun Devil Stadium, symbolic of the #42 jersey Pat wore as a Sun Devil.

The fun continues after the race with a free Finish Line Expo that features entertainment, refreshments and more than 40 local and national vendors. The Kids Corner, for children age 12 and younger, is an interactive zone filled with games, inflatables and special appearances by members of the Arizona State football team and local sports team mascots.

Proceeds from Pat’s Run directly support the Tillman Military Scholars program. To date, 230 Tillman Military Scholars representing 34 states and attending 71 academic institutions nationwide have been awarded more than $3.2 million. Since inception, the Foundation has invested more than $5 million to individuals committed to a life of service both in and out of uniform.
